The Best Ways to Listen to Self Hypnosis Audio
You will find that most self hypnosis mp3s are designed to listen to with headphones on. The reason for this is that the higher quality
recordings utilize the stereo capability and full range of sound that headphones provide. I’ve found it much easier to relax and enter your own little world when you are immersed in the sound the way the only headphones can do. Having the sound playing out loud over computer speakers just isn’t the same, it’s too easy to get distracted. An expensive Bluetooth speaker sitting on your nightstand or desk doesn’t even come close to an inexpensive pair of earbuds or headphones when it comes to stereo sound quality and listening experience.
What Device for Sleep Hypnosis Audio?
With most households having many different devices, such as personal computers, tablets, and, smart phones, you many be wondering which device is best to listen to your sleep hypnosis audio on. Although any of these devices will work, I have found it most convenient to download the sleep hypnosis MP’s to my smart phone and listen using Bluetooth ear buds. I am sure like most of you, I have my smartphone sitting on my bedside table every night as I go to sleep, typically charging. This makes it the most convenient way to listen to the MP3s that are designed to fall asleep to.
What Device for Daytime Hypnosis Audio?
I also like to listen to the occasional daytime self hypnosis audio. Daytime hypnosis tracks don’t put you to sleep, but are designed to play in the background as you do other tasks. I work on computers for a living so I will typically download daytime MP3s to my work computer so I can easily listen while working. My work computer has a Logitech headset with a microphone that is connected with a wire (not Bluetooth). The headset is used as a soft phone for work, as well as listening to any audio. This headset sounds great and works very well for daytime hypnosis listening.
Best Bluetooth Headphones
I have tried listening to MP3s several different ways as I fall asleep. Earbud type headphones are by far the most comfortable and allow you to lay in pretty much any position without bothering you. Before Bluetooth became popular I would use a regular old corded style of ear buds with the cord running to my phone on the bedside table. For obvious reasons this sucks, as the cord is a huge pain in the rear. Bluetooth headphones are awesome! My Son gave me a set of Samsung Level U Bluetooth headphones for Christmas 2 years ago and they are absolutely great! Since I use them every night I am writing a review on them to share with others here.
Body Position and Atmosphere
It’s best to listen while laying down in bed on your back, but only if that is a comfortable position for you. Most all self hypnosis programs go through deep breathing and relaxation of different parts of your body. Some will specifically instruct you to lie on your back with your arms stretched out at your sides. When I listen to my sleep hypnosis tracks every night, I typically start on my back, then end up falling asleep and turning on my side. I think what’s most important is to be comfortable. The more relaxed you are the easier it is for the hypnosis to sink into your subconscious mind, ultimately you will fall asleep as it is playing like I do every night.
