In order to change your way of thinking to positive, you first have to understand why it’s negative. I am sure you have tried to tell yourself “I am going to think more positive today”. You may have had some short term success in doing so, but come to realize it’s not long until you go back to the same old negative thinking. Sounds familiar right?

As we know, it’s just not that easy to change your thoughts and make it last, and here’s why. Your thoughts are guided by a thing called your paradigm. If we had super discipline we could monitor our thoughts and consciously replace our negative thoughts with positive ones. If we did this over and over it would eventually work. Unfortunately very few of us have this kind of discipline, we end up giving up and the old paradigm eventually wins out.
